In March, 1999, Mea-Culpa, a Montreal site of erotic photographs, was born on the Web. The company gave itself the challenge to propose imaginary erotic qualities which stands out from what one usually finds on the Internet. The concept of Mea-Culpa is that of the girl next door. The muses are not professional models, they are all young women of eighteen years and over who answer to an ad placed in a cultural magazine.
Erotic site or site of charm, the originality of Mea-Culpa also lies in the code of ethics it gave itself to represent feminine nudity. The photographer always guards himself of being too directive; never the body of the woman is shown in a degrading or vulgar way. All the sessions of photos take place with the hairdresser/make-up woman.
How It Works
No blind links, no membership swindles but a simple and secure way of functioning, such is Mea-Culpa. On average every month, two new women appear on the site, a click gives access to two free photos. If the customer chooses to buy one series (73 photos), he only has to pay $5.75 CAD (including taxes) which is about $4.35 USD or 3.55 € for a 24 hours access. No rebilling. CD ROM's are also available.

Exclusive and Original
All photographs on the Mea-Culpa site are exclusive: they were taken by the [KLU:K] photograph agency, which with Mea-Culpa, holds exclusive publishing rights to these photographs. Mea-Culpa offers quality photographs with special esthetic treatment: several are in black and white, others are in sepia or in colour.

Wow! I'm impressed. I'm 58. And I'm tired of looking at hardcore porn as it's BORING. And I'm tired of looking at young hard bodies as that's BORING too at my age. But your site has women who are not that young and not that old. The kind of women that I notice everyday at work and play. They're attractive and look like they have some life still left in them. I wish all of them well in any pursuit they can imagine. Thank you for making these images available to me and all those out there who have similar feelings. Do keep up the excellent work. Oh. One last thing I want to mention. It's refreshing to see some of your models in clothing along with them being nude or partially so. More reality than fantasy. Again....excellent work.

It is unusual for me to be moved to comment on such things, but I wanted to say that I find myself smiling as I look at the photos of the girls, as they are so naturally pretty (all of them, in their own way) and you have managed to capture what I see as a glimpses into their individual personalities - wow, so refreshing! Unlike a lot of nude photography, yours is extraordinarily tasteful, and inspiring to my own photo work, and you have found a wonderfully diverse bunch of girls who appear to be genuinely having *fun*, being photographed nude. I've watched Mea-Culpa evolve over the past three years into a well-designed and very sensual site. Thanks to your site, Montreal has piqued my curiosity enough to have spent quite a few weekends there in the last couple of years. When I walk along rue Saint Denis on a warm September night I see the spirit of Mea-Culpa flowing through the sidewalk cafes and bistros. I know it's just a snapshot of one small section of your town, but to an outsider like me it represents a sort of Mea-Culpa sensual spirit that you don't see in most North American cities. The bios of the Mea Culpa muses reflect the joy of living I see in Montreal. A very cool city and web site.

I just viewed the Oceanne and Megane photographs on the site and wanted to let you know how beautiful I found them to be. Both photographer and models should be proud of this gentle, graceful work. I think it's so important to produce positive, respectful work when working with female duos and couples; the models are taking a leap of faith to give something very personal and profoundly beautiful of themselves. (I am working to develop my drawing skills, and these photos will be an inspiration to me as I develop my abilities -- copy of my work attached).

By the way, we were fortunate enough to be able to visit Montreal last weekend -- my favorite North American city. The architecture is beautiful, the food delicious. I love the old town.
