How often is the members' section updated?
Three times per week, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with a fresh page of 18 to 25 images, in two sizes, screen sized and print sized.

Is the site legal?
Yes of course. You can have peace of mind regarding DOMAI, we have been one of the web's most popular sites since our start in 1997, the site is often featured in major magazines and TV shows, and there have never been any problems. You can see that we demand that the models be over 18. We have consulted with expert lawyers, and everything is completely in compliance with US/EU law.

Is it safe to use a credit card online?
If you use a credit card at all, it is as safe to use it online as anywhere. In any case, you are covered by your credit card company in case somebody else uses it. (They don't promote this a lot...)

I don't have/use a credit card, what to do?
Firstly, it is at least as safe to use a credit card on the web as it is to use it in a restaurant, per surveys. But if you don't have one perhaps you can use the online checks. (U.S.A only.) Otherwise contact us.

How will it appear on my credit card bill?
Only as "CCBill".

Can I contact the models?
Nope, sorry. Our models are so pretty they would spend all their time answering e-mail instead of making our streets and this site more beautiful. :) Besides, Contact business is a big one with many pitfalls, and we are not in that business.

Do you sell CD-ROMs with images?
Yes.

Do you sell video content?
No. Not yet at least. While tasteful nude photos in DOMAI's class is rare, video content like that is basically nonexistent. We just haven't found any we really like, yet. We may produce some ourselves in the future, but this is a big undertaking, and we don't want to do anything half-heartedly.

How about giving us a biography of each model?
We don't do that, for these reasons: 1) to protect the privacy of the models, there is very little we could tell. Also we can't get the information reliably and we don't want to make things up. 2) DOMAI is about the beauty of women in general and in principle, and we think a "cult of personality" works against that goal.

Why are so many models shaved?
Actually it is a small minority. A few of them have their body hair untouched, a few shave it, and most of them just have it trimmed. This is not something we demand one way or the other, we just take the models as they come. It is much more common these days that you might imagine. Some sociologists say that how much body hair people want to have is directly related to how much of the body is typically allowed to be seen in public, and both things change with the times.

Why are the models all young?
We don't consider age at all, we simply use models that we like. Some of our models are in their thirties, but thanks to today's healthier living, people look good longer.
The models are over 18, and the typical age is perhaps 22. Most people much older than that already have a career and are not interested in modeling, except professional models. And we are more interested in amateurs because they have a spontaneity and sense of fun which is important to us.
Also we are one of the very few nudity-oriented sites which don't automatically reject models older than 23-24.

Why don't you show open legs?
For most people it would not fit under our non-sexual simple nudes concept. Different people have different ideas of what is sexual. But there is a sharp upturn at the point where you show genitalia. Not surprising, since they are the sex organs after all.

Do you plan on featuring men on the site?
No. It is outside the scope of the site. We really wish to see a good web site featuring men the way we do women, but we don't have the time to make it ourselves, sorry. We are still hoping somebody will make such a site. Maybe you?

Why so few non-caucasian models?
We are always looking for more black, Asian, hispanic models, etc. But for some reason we are not offered very much good material with them, even when we advertise specifically for it. We hope this will change, there is no reason it shouldn't.

How large are the images in the members' section?
The images are full sized, same size as those on the Photo pages.
Starting in late 2004, image sets include super-sized images!

Are there zip files available to members?
From January 2005, yes!

Hello! My name is Eolake Stobblehouse, I am an artist and writer. (I am also a photographer, but most of the pictures on this site are by various other photographers around the world.) The world is full of great subjects for art, but I have always had a particular fondness for beautiful women. This has been so all my life. Even at seven I would clown around in school to try to impress the prettiest girl in class. What I found beautiful then were the same things I find beautiful now: charming, pretty, and natural girls who are full of life and personality.

We at DOMAI believe that there is nothing wrong with looking at beautiful women, dressed or not, so long as one is polite and considerate. Beauty is made to be seen. And collecting nude pictures is a time-honored hobby for the educated person, going back not only to 'French postcards', but to pre-raphaelite paintings. It stimulates the circulation and lifts the spirit.

Therefore I made DOMAI; a club which celebrates female beauty in its pure form. In the mid-nineties, when the World Wide Web was fresh and young, I decided to make a web site for the club. I did it just for fun, and fun it is, both the writing, and the selecting of pictures, a great nude photo never gets boring. As it turned out there was a big want of a place to find beauty like this, and I have not had time to look back since.

I have worked with pictures, art and photography all my life. I love art and I love beauty, nothing is more important to me. So of course I try my best to put this experience and this passion into everything we do at DOMAI, from simple and effective layouts to the best art nude photography found anywhere.

To create something, we first have to imagine it. DOMAI is a fantasy of a world full of nude, attractive people everywhere. (My interest is the girls, so we specialize in them.) When enough people can imagine something, it will happen.

What are the qualities I look for in the art for this site? What's important are several things:

• Simplicity
• Joy and happiness
• Innocence

Women have a unique and unsurpassed beauty that I feel it is wrong to muddy up or overshadow with too much clothing, make-up or jewelry. A nude photo should be simple. Also, the face and the expression is at least as important as the body.

Now, in other sections of this site I have lots of things to say about beauty, women, and related subjects. But right here I want to talk about your membership in DOMAI.

There are many images in the free sections of the site. And all the articles and stories and the newsletter, and the fine art section are free. So what do you get when you buy a membership? That is easy: tens of thousands of images in DOMAI quality! More beauty than is collected anywhere.
